WebDAV - Can I access my Y drive on an iPad or iPhone not using the VPN?
Answer:

Yes. WebDAV (Internet file access) provides access to files that you have saved on the RHUL Network via the internet.

You can view and download files and also upload files if you are accessing via your iPad.

Prerequisites

  • WebDAV client software form the AppStore - WebDAV Nav

Steps to connect

In this example we have used WebDAV Nav app.

Open your WebDAV client software. Add a new server connection the add the server address of https://webdav.rhul.ac.uk and your RHUL username and password.
Give it a name and save the configuration.

Connect to WebDAV. Sign in dialog

 Now your connected to your personal Y drive on the RHUL network.

 Access to your files and folders.
