How can I use the old vpn?
Answer:

If there is a problem with the F5 VPN, you can instead set up the old style vpn.

Please be aware that some internet service providers block this type of VPN.  It can usually be unlocked by logging on to your broadband router and enabling the PPTP Passthrough option.  Contact us or your ISP for help with this.

Mac OS X

Please follow these instructions.

Windows

Click on Open Network and Sharing Center from the Control Panel or via the Internet Access icon in the bottom right corner of the screen:

Then follow these steps to make the connection:

Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10 only - Go to Network and Sharing Center again, then on the left, click Change adaptor settings. Right-click on CampusNet icon and select Properties.  Then, on the Security tab, change options to match this image:

Now you can connect via the internet icon in the bottom-right:
