Yes.

Microsoft Office is now available for free to current Royal Holloway students with a live.rhul.ac.uk email address.  Staff can obtain the software from here.

Instructions for PC and Mac

  1. Log on to webmail up to the point where you can see your inbox
  2. Keeping the webmail screen open, return here and click the installation link below to get to the Office download page
  3. Download and install the software:
  4. After installation, when you run the software, you will be given several options to activate it.  Choose "Register Online" or "Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription"
  5. Then log in the same way as with email, in the format zyxw321@live.rhul.ac.uk

Instructions for Android/iOS/Windows tablets and phones

  1. Visit the Store on the device and install the free Apps from Microsoft: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  2. The first time you open the app, you'll need to log in the same way as with email, in the format zyxw321@live.rhul.ac.uk
