Note: The following information is for devices running Apple iOS 4.x or 5.x (for example, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, GSM/CDMA iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 2nd generation, iPod Touch 3rd generation, iPod Touch 4th generation, iPad, iPad 2 and iPad 3). For other iPhones or iOS versions click here. 

On up to date iOS devices your Exchange ActiveSync server name is: outlook.office365.com

Add this and the information requested in the Username and Password boxes.  You need to enter your full email address in the Username boxes in the format: Firstname.Lastname@rhul.ac.uk.

Tap Next in the upper-right corner of the screen. Your iPhone will try to find the settings it needs to set up your account.

Once your iPhone has connected to your account you can choose the type of information you want to synchronize to your device, and then tap Save. Synchronization of Mail, Contacts and Calendar can be configured individually.
