Preview - How do I preview a web page?

Question:
Preview - How do I preview a web page?
Answer:

Web pages should be previewed before they are submitted and authorised to check the overall layout and content of the page in a web browser.

Occasionally, a page will look fine in the edit mode of Contensis but the layout, when you preview a page, doesn't look how it should. This is why you should double-check and preview your web pages before submitting and approving any changes.

If you are editing a page and want to preview your changes:

  • click the Preview button above the tabs

previewButton2

 or

  • select the Version History tab

versionHistoryTab

  • click on the Preview button.

The Preview screen can also be selected from the Navigator menu.
