Dual View - What does the dual view screen show me?

Question:
Dual View - What does the dual view screen show me?
Answer:

Dual View is a great tool for simply viewing the latest version of a page next to an older one.

It is possible to view any two versions of the content even if one uses an older template. Dual View enables you to compare one version of a page with another version of the page.

Note: You may need to allow insecure content to use Dual View - just look for a shield symbol in your browser's address bar and click it to see options for showing content.

The Dual View screen can be selected from the Version History tab.

The following information for every version will be shown:.

  • version number
  • date created
  • current live or current edit version (where applicable)

  • click on the Dual View button.

A view of the two versions will open on the screen.
