Events Web Page - How do I create my events web page?

Events Web Page - How do I create my events web page?
Answer:

To detail and highlight lectures, presentations, recitals and conferences etc. Contensis enables you to create an Events web page.

Events articles can be found within a subfolder in the individual Department folders in the project explorer.

Please use this predefined subfolder to organise and store your event articles and graphics and to display and publish them via the home page.

Where the subfolder lies will depend on which department folder you are viewing.

Most Events articles will be found either within the 'Events' subfolder or the 'news and events' subfolder.

If you are having difficulty finding the Events pages, please contact Communications who will be able to assist you.

A template has been created to provide the layout of the events page.
  • Click on the eventsarticles folder in the Project Explorer menu
  • Select Create New Content from the menu

The Wizard opens up the Select Template Type screen.

  • Select the EventsPage template
The Wizard opens up the Specify Content Information screen.
  • Type in the title

Please note that there are certain characters that cannot be used in these names.

The filename and menu name autopopulate but they can be edited or not displayed.
