DCMS Scholarships

The ISG has been given a Government grant to fund four tuition-fee-only scholarships for its GCHQ-certified MSc in Information Security. (Note - we are yet to hear if this will be available for the 2018/19 academic year).

The grant is being made available under the Department for Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) project “Cyber Security Skills retraining to encourage Career Transitioners into the Cyber Security profession”, which is funded by the National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP).

Royal Holloway and Chevening Scholarships 

  • International Excellence Scholarships of £5,000 are available for students who hold an offer from Royal Holloway. Further conditions apply. 
  • Alumni Bursaries - all alumni of the college who enroll for a postgraduate programme of study are automatically granted an Alumni Bursary. Bursaries are given on one occasion only on their first year of registration. Former students of the college should indicate their status on the application form in order for the bursary to be prepared. The value of the fee is currently a 10% tuition fee discount.
  • The Chevening Scholarship Scheme is available to applicants who have completed at least two year's work or equivalent experience before applying (this can include paid or unpaid internships and voluntary work). 
  • Global Community Awards - Selected nationalities are able to able for a Global Community Awards which offers a discount to the MSc Information Security course.
