Applications and Fees

Below, you can find information about applying for the MSc in Information Security. Please note that the campus based programme is administered directly by Royal Holloway, University of London. The distance learning programme is administered separately by the University of London International Programmes, and has a separate application process, study and fees structure.

Applications for the campus based MSc Information Security:

Applications for the MSc in Information Security (campus based) should be via the Royal Holloway, University of London Application System. Information about fees can be found on the fees and funding webpage.

Note: from September 2016  onwards, the UK Government will be providing Postgraduate Loans (PGL) of up to £10,000 per student for part-time as well as full-time study. Masters degrees in all disciplines and subject areas will be covered by the new postgraduate loans scheme, which will be administered by Student Finance England. See the fees and funding webpage for more details.

This is for the following modes of study:

  • Full Time / Part Time (Day Release (one or more days per week) or Block Mode)
  • Continuing Professional Development (Day Release (one or more days per week) or Block Mode)

There is one entry point per year in September at the start of each academic year and there is no set deadline for application. The application process usually takes 4-6 weeks. Any queries can be directed to the ISG Administrator Michelle Gates or the MSc Programme Director Dr Chez Ciechanowicz.

Applications for the distance learning MSc Information Security:

Applications for the MSc in Information Security (distance learning) should be via the University of London International Programmes Application System. Information about fees can also be found on this link.

This is for the following modes of study:

  • Distance Learning

There is one entry point per year in September at the start of each academic year and the deadline is 31st July each year for September entry.
