Vacancy: Post-doctoral Research Assistant (Multilinear Maps in Cryptography)

The ISG is seeking to recruit a post-doctoral research assistant to work in the area of 'Multi-linear Maps in Cryptography'. The position is available from 31st January 2014 and will run for three years.

The PDRA will work alongside Prof. Kenny Paterson and the Visiting Researcher Prof. Dennis Hofheinz (TU Karlsruhe) on the development of cryptographic schemes making use of multi-linear maps, and formal security analyses of these schemes.

The PDRA will also work with Prof. Paterson, a second Visiting Researcher Prof. Steven Galbraith (University of Auckland) and Dr. Martin Albrecht (who will also be a PDRA on the project) on the problem of developing sound abstractions of current and future proposals for multi-linear maps that are suitable for use by cryptographers.
