Royal Holloway confirmed as an Academic Partner of the IISP

Posted on 07/03/2012

The Information Security Group is delighted to announce that Royal Holloway has been confirmed as one of the first four academic partners of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP). This award recognises the significant base of security-related expertise and activity that exists within the ISG and encourages and enables the dialogue between the ISG and the wider community of security practitioners. Prof. Keith Martin, Director of the ISG, is looking forward to the ongoing collaboration between the ISG and IISP: “The IISP aims to professionalise the information security industry and the ISG have been training information security professionals for over thirty years – so it makes a great deal of sense that we work together. We full endorse the aims of the IISP’s academic partnership programme, and attribute much of our existing success to the types of collaboration that this partnership is further encouraging.”
