Members of staff in the College Health and Safety Office provide comprehensive advice and assistance across the broad subject of occupational health and safety, including fire safety. This includes the detailed interpretation and application of health and safety legislative requirements, covering specific subjects such as policy formulation and the management of risk relating to a wide range of topics.
Staff in the College Health and Safety Office are responsible for the development of College Policies and Procedures.
A range of training courses are either provided or coordinated by members of the College Health and Safety Office.
The College Fire Safety Officer provides comprehensive guidance and advice to all departments on the fire safety management.
Certain members of staff in each department will have specific health and safety duties.
