We would like to inform ALL academic members of staff about the programme of seminars for the Teaching and Learning Interest Group for the Autumn and Spring terms. Everyone is welcome at these seminars, including research students with an interest in teaching and learning.
On Wednesday 12th December from 4 until 6pm in Win 1-04 we are running a session which focuses on the performance element in lecturing with Stewart Theobald from Talking Shop Training Ltd.
At the start of next term on Wednesday 9th January in Win 0-05 from 2 until 4pm the seminar will focus on Alternative Assessment and for this session the speaker will be Alan Mortiboys (former Professor of Educational Development at Birmingham City University).
Towards the end of January, on Wednesday 23rd, we have invited Gráinne Conole to deliver a session entitled What is innovative teaching? (Time and room number to be confirmed).
