This workshop is part of National Stress Awareness Day.
Stress Management has never been more relevant than it is today. According to recent research, stress levels have doubled in 4 years.
There are numerous solutions available to help people manage stress levels and National Stress Awareness Day is the ideal opportunity to get involved. All members of staff are invited to take part in the events planned for this day.
Stress Awareness: Understanding Stress

A workshop designed for members of staff at all levels to understand what stress is, to identify strategies for managing individual stress and build future strength to become more effective in the workplace.
In this three hour workshop we aim to provide members of staff with a basic understanding of how our bodies react to stress in both the short and long term. We aim to look at practical methods for members of staff to cope with and manage pressures in their own lives as well as understand the different resources and opportunities that College has to support its staff. This workshop aims to empower members of staff to build both an awareness of how pressure can affect their lives and take an active role in changing themselves.
