The standard of higher education at Royal Holloway, University of London has been commended following the institutional audit in 2011.
The College was assessed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), which is responsible for safeguarding quality and standards in UK Higher Education. In England and Northern Ireland, all universities and colleges of higher education are currently reviewed within a six-year cycle of Institutional audit.
A team of auditors visited the College during March and May 2011 to meet with staff and students to carry out its assessment and concluded that full confidence could be placed in Royal Holloway’s current and likely future management of its academic standards and learning opportunities for students.
The Audit confirmed that the College is performing to the high standard that is to be expected. The report highlighted some key areas of good practice and confirmed that there are no significant issues of concern.
