MA graduate's feature film screening at the BFI

Posted on 06/12/2012

Roland Holmes, a graduate from our MA Producing programme, was Assistant Producer on feature film, Life Just Is, set to be released this Friday, 7 December. It will run for two weeks at the BFI on London's Southbank, along with other select screenings and Q&A sessions, before a nationwide distribution to be announced in the new year.

Roland told us, 'Life Just Is' was a fitting first project for me to join upon completing the MA in Producing at Royal Holloway, as the film tells the story of a tight-knit group of Londoners who have recently graduated from university themselves. The first class training the course provided enabled me to be part of the success of 'Life Just Is', which I aim to build upon and further my career'.

The film made its world première at Edinburgh (EIFF) in summer 2012, where it was nominated in the Michael Powell Award competition. The film has also secured Home Entertainment distribution for the UK & Ireland from Independent (ID).

Below are full details about the film and for all London screenings, plus the DVD release.

We wish Roland every success.
