The National Student Survey 2014 launched at Royal Holloway on Monday 20 January.

At the close of the fourth week of the survey, we have had a total of 669 students submit their feedback, a 32% response rate. At the same time last year, we had achieved a 30% response rate.

If you are in contact with finalists, please do encourage them to complete the NSS online via www.thestudentsurvey.com. All students who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw, the results of which will be released after the close of the survey on 30 April.

Highlights from this week include:

  •  European Studies increased their response rate by +35.71% on the previous week
  • German, Classics and European Studies have all exceeded a 50% response rate in their departments with 80%, 76.12%, and 53.57% respectively
  • 12 departments are exceeding their response rate from this time last year: German, Classics, European Studies, PIR & Philosophy, Psychology, Economics, Criminology & Sociology, French, English, Geography, Earth Sciences and ULiP

Below you can see how all departments are doing in terms of their percentage response rates, set alongside the total number of students who could participate. The data relates to the period Monday 20 January - Friday 14 February.
