Successful candidate’s statement:

MR DAVID COBB            IT SERVICES

Over the past five years I have worked in, volunteered at and studied with the College – it is a place I care deeply about.  As Professional Services, we represent the backbone of the College; it is vital our voices are represented at the highest levels, ensuring our strategic direction works for all stakeholders.

I’ve had the benefit of working across the College on major events such as Clearing, Start of Session and many IT projects giving me a broad insight into the staggering amount of work we strive to deliver.  The renewed challenges facing Royal Holloway and the HE sector, mean that seizing every opportunity to contribute to the future of our institution is essential and requires a powerful collective voice.

My experience with technology provides a pragmatic perspective on the future of the College and, I hope, allows me to add significant weight to our shaping of this future.
