New this term – Campus Value

Posted on 01/05/2013
We’ve spoken to a lot of students and staff over the past few months and understand that many of you want to see cheaper food and drink options available in all of our outlets on campus.

That’s why we’re really excited to be launching our new ‘Campus Value’ items this term. By working closely with our suppliers, every one of our ten catering and retail outlets, including the SCR, is now offering new products and meals – including a variety of vegetarian options - at good value prices – just look out for our red and white CAMPUS VALU£ logo.

You can now start your day with a hot breakfast in Founder's for £1.50. If it’s a cheap lunch you’re after you’re really spoilt for choice – you can now get a cone of wedges and sauce for only £1 in Crosslands, a hot plated £3.50 lunch in Founder’s, 8Bar9 or the Hub, or a range of great value sandwiches in many of our outlets for £1.30. We’ve also increased the size of our small portions for staff in the SCR with no increase in price!

Campus Value isn’t just about basics though, so if you want to treat yourself, head over to Coffee & Cake for a cake wedge and coffee at £2.95 or bite size cakes for £1 or go down to Imagine, where all hot drinks and iced tea are just £1. To round off your day, why not try our plated dinner in KW’s or a pasta bowl, plus sides, in Founder’s, both at £3.50!

The Store on Campus is also expanding its new range of value food and drink including cereals, juices, biscuits and more.

Remember too that students can save 20% on many purchases just by using their RCS Account and even more if you’re a catered pay-as-you go resident.

Campus Value was a result of the feedback you’ve given us and your feedback is essential for us to improve our service.  We in the Campus Services department want Campus Value to bring you the products you’d like to see at the best prices we can get, so please let us know what you think – what you like, don’t like and what you’d like to see more of - at campus-services @|.
