The Holocaust Research Institute is delighted to announce that three students currently on the Holocaust Studies MA course have won PhD scholarships to start in September 2017.

Amber Pierce won the Amy Buller Scholarship, funded by Cumberland Lodge and Royal Holloway, to research prosecutors at war crimes trials since the Nuremberg trials of 1945-46.

Emily Smith will also be staying at Royal Holloway, funded by Pears Foundation, to research the World Jewish Relief Central British Fund Archives, under the joint supervision of Dr. Simone Gigliotti and Professor Dan Stone.

Finally, Kate Marrison has won the Faculty of Arts Cross Disciplinary Scholarship at the University of Leeds to research 'The Virtualisation of Postmemory: Testimony in Film and Digital Culture’. She will be supervised by Dr. Matthew Boswell.

We offer our congratulations to all three students and wish them the best of luck in their doctoral studies!
