The Holocaust Research Institute has won the team category of The Principal’s Exceptional Citizen Award at the Royal Holloway Staff Recognition Awards 2017.

In a ceremony on Monday 27th March, Principal Paul Layzell presented Professor Dan Stone, Director of the Institute, with the award. The Principal’s Exceptional Citizen Award is given to individuals and teams who demonstrate the most outstanding achievements in some or all of the following:

  • Willingness to extend themselves to help others;
  • Improving the quality of life in the University and/or wider community;
  • Demonstrating good citizenship.

The Holocaust Research Institute team was nominated by Professor Sarah Ansari of the College's History Department. We would like to thank Professor Ansari for the nomination; the judging panel for granting us the award; and Principal Layzell for presenting the award.
