The History of the Future

Posted on 07/09/2012

If you thought that History was all about what happens in the past, then think again ... Professors Justin Champion and Greg Claeys will be appearing in a new BBC Radio 4 series 'The History of the Future', beginning on Monday 10 September.  This series of ten programmes explores how people at different times and in different places have engaged with the future, ranging from Apocalyptic visions found in the New Testament Book of Revelation, to the enigmatic prophesies of Nostradamus in sixteenth-century France to the science fiction dystopias of HG Wells and George Orwell.  For more information, go to the BBC Radio 4 webpage.
