Mary Hardy's diary and world

Margaret Bird, Honorary Research Fellow in the History Department, has launched two websites dedicated to her mammoth project exploring the life of Mary Hardy (1733-1809), the wife of a Norfolk farmer, maltster and brewer, and whose diary (click here) spanned 36 years and ran to over half a million words!
