Tim Unwin reflects on Geography at Bedford College (and then Royal Holloway) in the 1980s

The Geography Department at Royal Holloway, University of London, is hosting an alumni event focusing on the 1980s to be held on 16th July.  As one of the last members of staff to have worked at Bedford College, Professor Tim Unwin was asked to write a few words about his recollections of the department, its history and the ways in which it has transformed and evolved.
