Royal Holloway Geography 7th in UK in Sunday Times league table

Posted on 14/10/2012

The Department of Geography at Royal Holloway has been ranked in the UK top ten by The Sunday Times for its undergraduate degree programmes in both Human and Physical Geography.  We were ranked 7th in the Human Geography table and 9th for Physical Geography.

The Sunday Times table pulls together evidence on the quality of teaching, the wider student experience, and the research strengths of departments to give a useful all-round assessment of the position of Departments and their degrees.

This excellent ranking follows on from other indications of the quality of the degrees at Royal Holloway this year, with a top-ranked performance in the National Student Survey for overall student satisfaction  (Human Geography at 100% and Physical Geography at 97%), and  a top-ten performance in graduate-level employment.
