Royal Geographical Society awards for postgrads Lise and Stephanie

Posted on 02/02/2012

Two Royal Holloway PhD students, Lise Andreassen (left) and Stephanie Morrice (right), have been awarded prestigious Royal Geographical Society awards to assist their research.

Lise's work concerns the adoption of low carbon energy technologies within housing communities in South East England.

Stephanie's research concerns the emotional impact of major disasters, particularly relating to the remaking of homes in their aftermath.  She's working on disaster sites in Australia and New Zealand, and is currently a visiting researcher at the  University of the Sunshine Coast.
