Jacob Bendle (MSc Quaternary Science 2011-12) has been awarded the prestigious 2012 MSc Curry Prize competition by the Geologists’ Association for his first-class dissertation (Assessing the potential of x-ray computer microtomography (uCT) for three-dimensional (3D) microscale investigation of Quaternary laminated lacustrine sequences).

Jacob will be presented with his prize - £1000 and a year's free membership of the GA - at the Geologists' Association Annual General Meeting at Burlington House in London on 3rd May.
