Former Royal Holloway Enterprise Centre incubation company High Tech Health Ltd has achieved 4th place in The Sunday Times Virgin 2010 Fast Track 100. Published annually in December since 1997, the Fast Track 100 is the definitive league table of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales. High Tech Health joined the Enterprise Centre as an incubation tenant and client in November 2006. At the time founder Josh Penny had just one other employee in his fledgling company, occupied just one 2-person office unit and had sales that year of £600,000. Business soon took off, steadily growing into more office units within the Centre. High Tech Health eventually "graduated" in 2009, moving to larger and much grander premises in the neighbouring Ascot Business Park.
High Tech Health Ltd's great Fast Track 100 performance was achieved through annualised sales growth of 193%, with sales topping £17,000,000 in 2009-10 - with just 12 staff.
"We're incredibly proud that the help we were able to provide in the early days to High Tech Health Ltd has played some part in helping Josh and his team achieve such incredible success - long may it continue. We are also delighted that such a thriving and innovative company has stayed in the local area. The only cloud we can see on the horizon for cricket fanatic Aussie Josh is the current Australian perfomance in the Ashes!" Tony Greenwood, Director, Research & Enterprise.
