Shakespeare Reading Group

The Shakespeare Reading group provides the opportunity for Shakespeare enthusiasts to combine reading the plays out loud, hearing it read out loud, and free, open discussion of the texts in a casual and fun environment. The group meets weekly on Thursday 4-5pm in IN221.

ShakespeareReadingGroup2In addition to reading the plays, activities may include exploration into original pronunciation and viewing scenes from past production and film versions. Students can bring along questions, issues or anything that interests them about any Shakespeare work of their choosing to help the reading group reflect their own interests and explorations.

Students of any subject and at any level of study are welcome. Please contact Jessica Chiba at jessica.chiba@rhul.ac.uk with any queries.
