Talking heads

On these pages you'll find some clips of some of our academic team talking about aspects of their research and what they do in the department, ideal for sixth-form teachers looking for a discussion point to kick-start a lesson.

In films 1-5 below, Dr Eric Langley, Professor Dan Rebellato and Professor Adam Roberts talk about aspects of comedy in literature and theatre, particularly in relation to Shakepeare's comedic plays.

In film 6, Dr Doug Cowie asks 'what is creative writing'?, and in film 7, Dr Eric Langley talks about 'the body' in Renaissance literature.
