Writers Talk at London Zoo: Jo Shapcott on Slender Loris in Rainforest Life

Tuesday 14 May 2013, 7-9pm

Jo Shapcott on Slender Loris in Rainforest Life

For this unique Writer's Talk, held within the animal houses of London Zoo, Jo Shapcott will team up with conservation scientists and keepers to talk about the Slender Loris, which she has chosen ‘for its intriguing name, for its night vision, for its air of mystery - and, sadly, because it's a species in decline, I want to celebrate it while it's still here.’

Alongside the animals, Jo Shapcott will speak imaginatively about her responses to them, while ZSL’s experts will talk about their ecology and conservation. The audience will be able to ask questions of author, scientist and keeper and have books signed over a glass of wine.
