Play! 2013, a day-long micro-arts festival organised by Royal Holloway and held at The Firestation in Windsor, is looking for volunteer stagehands to assist the Stage Manager in running and operating the festival.
Some previous experience is desirable, as the role will include:
- Operating some sound and basic lighting as required
- Running get-ins and get-outs for acts in between performances with the Stage Manager
- Working with the Stage Manager to run the technical rehearsal
- Working with the Festival Director, Royal Holloway's volunteer Front of House team and Firestation staff to ensure a smoothly-run event
Terms and conditions:
You will be required to attend at The Firestation on Monday 27 May (half day) for technical rehearsals and Saturday 1 June for the festival (approximately 10am-midnight). All other meetings and tasks will be fixed around your availability. Please note this is a voluntary role.
