Poet's Research Forum Wednesday 6th November

The Poets' Research Forum is for practice-based poetry PhD students, or those writing about poetry as part of their English Lit PhDs. We meet termly in Bedford Square. Sessions include: presentation and discussion of academic research and creative work by students and guest speakers, creative work workshops, and sharing of a variety of approaches to the practice-based thesis. The forum is designed to be a friendly and supportive space that responds to the needs and interests of its members.

Wednesday 6th November, 6.30pm

Poet and Creative Writing Lecturer Jack Underwood will present and discuss his practice-based PhD thesis, focusing on the relationship between the creative and critical components.

Jack Underwood completed an MA and PhD in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College, where he now teaches Creative Writing. He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2007 and Faber published his debut pamphlet in October 2009.
