Wednesday 20 March 2013, 10am start

All welcome

All staff and students of the English Department are cordially invited to attend and participate in the 2013 MILTON-ATHON.

Throughout Wednesday 20 March (Week 11) there will be a continuous read-through of (most of) Milton’s Paradise Lost taking place in MBS0-02/3 (Moore Building).

Starting at 10am and continuing until no later than 6.00pm, Dr Langley will lead this non-stop communal reading of Milton’s epic, so drop in at any point throughout the day, either as audience or reader.

Bring food (apples... or cake!), bring friends, bring your own texts, and stay as long as you like.

‘I thence invoke thy aid to my adventurous song’ (I.13)
