Contemporary Innovative Poetry Research Seminar: Professor Will Rowe (Birkbeck), 'The Poetics of the Commodity'

At the second Innovative Poetry Research Seminar of this term, Will Rowe (Birkbeck) will be speaking on ‘Poetics of the commodity’. The poets discussed will include (but not be limited to) Gertrude Stein, Rimbaud, Cesar Vallejo and Barry MacSweeney.

About the Contemporary Innovative Poetry Research Seminar
Instigated by Professor Robert Hampson of the Royal Holloway English Department, this seminar is focused on the poetry and poetics that have been produced in Britain, Ireland and North America over the last fifty years in the modernist tradition.
