Professor Andrew Gibson was recently appointed Associate Member of the Beckett International Foundation at the University of Reading, and as a member of the Advisory Board for Londonicity, London’s first annual London Studies conference. On 23 February he will be giving a lecture entitled '"Where We Stand": Joyce, Dubliners, Radical Nationalism and the Anatomy of Irish Culture 1904-6’, at the University of Limerick. On the 2 March, at the Holloway building at 2, Gower Street, London WC1, he will present and interview Professor Françoise Balibar on the subject of the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris, as the first event in the Royal Holloway HARC series Thinking Impact Otherwise: The Philosopher and the Public in France.
