Exegesis Seminar: Impact & Public Engagement for PhD Students and Recent Graduates
Wednesday 13 February, 5.30-7.30pm
Bedford Square, Room GSF1
Wine and refreshments provided
You know that your research is important, but does everyone else?
Hosted by RHUL’s postgraduate e-journal Exegesis, this seminar will focus on demonstrating the impact of your research within and outside of your field and to the public.
Dr. Alasdair Pinkerton (Geography) and Dr. Graham Smith (History) will provide practical information that you can use NOW to determine and disseminate the impact of your research. From blogs to the BBC, speakers will discuss a range of approaches to sharing your research with a wider audience. Academic and non-academic paths will be addressed, with plenty of time for discussion.
This will be an excellent opportunity for postgraduates and early career academics in all stages of their research to learn about this increasingly important topic in a relaxed, informal setting.
+ Please RSVP via the PGR Moodle to reserve your seat, and send any questions to email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Made possible with funding from RHUL's Student-Led Teaching Initiatives.
