I wish to apply to RHUL as a mature student, can you offer me any advice?

Question:
I wish to apply to RHUL as a mature student, can you offer me any advice?
Answer:

Applications from mature students are particularly encouraged.

We prefer our mature applicants to be doing an Access course, or relevant A-level qualifications in evening classes or by distance learning (http://www.emagister.co.uk/ is useful to locate such courses). If the qualifications you hold were gained more than 5 years ago, you may be asked to complete a short exercise (usually an analysis of a poem).
