Can I do an internship as part of the degree programme?

Question:
Can I do an internship as part of the degree programme?
Answer:

We encourage students to use the Careers Service to find summer internships. We generally do not encourage internships during term because 1) it takes time away from your studies and 2) most interns receive little genuine training as they are only employed for a short period of time. The Department never gives credit based on internships.
