Undergraduate Economics Hub Open for Business

Posted on 11/01/2013

You asked for a space in which you could meet with your friends to study, get extra help from course tutors, and hold revision session during the exam term…

In response, the Economics department have set up the Economics Hub, a space just for undergraduate Economics students, based in the Horton Building.

The Economics Hub can be used as both a social and study space. Here, you will be able to make the most of group meetings through use of a projector and white boards. Tutors will be regularly holding informal sessions in which you can ask questions about the course and seek advice and feedback on assignments. The newly formed Economics Society will also be hosting events here throughout the term involving external speakers from a range of industries and professions.

During the third term, the Economics Hub will become the place to revise, with input from tutors and PhD students available throughout the examination period.

All undergraduate students will shortly have access granted to the Economics Hub through their student card.
