Appeal Checklist Question 7

Appeals against the academic judgement of examiners, including requests for work to be re-marked or classifications to be raised are NOT considered valid grounds for an appeal.

This is because robust mechanisms exist to ensure that marking standards are appropriate and fair. If you are uncertain why you received a particular outcome or mark you may wish to discuss this with your Personal Advisor/Course Tutor, the Academic Coordinator or Programme Director, when they are available. This member of staff will also be able to discuss your academic progress in more general terms.
