Postgraduate taught courses - Earth Sciences

We offer taught postgraduate MSc programmes in Environmental Diagnosis & Management and Petroleum Geosciences.

The Environmental Diagnosis & Management programme has strong involvement of environmental consultancies, local authorities and regulatory agencies.

The Petroleum Geosciences programme has special emphasis on tectonics and basin evolution. This programme can also be studied by distance learning.

These MSc programmes are supported by industrial studentships, and have significant industrial involvement and support. They are internationally acclaimed and provide excellent employment prospects. In addition, our MSc in Earth Sciences by Research offers a 1-year research project, with training in relevant skills and scientific knowledge.

All MSc programmes may be taken full-time or part-time.
