MSc. Iván Hernández is a PhD student with a
background in wastewater treatment and greenhouse gas emissions from sewage
treatment and is now part of the GGRG working on research into long-term trends
of CO2, CH4 and CO in Southeast England. He studies the
time series of air pollutants recorded at Royal Holloway University of London
to interpret temporal variations as well as greenhouse gas emissions from local
wastewater treatment plants.
Research interests Outside GGRG include CH4
emissions from landfills in subtropical climate at developing countries in
partnership with the Agricultural and Forest Research Institute in Mexico.
Role/Function in GGRG: Long-term air pollutants analyses,
statistical interpretation, physicochemical analyses.
