Dr. Rebecca Fisher joined the GGRG in 2002. Her PhD was on the development of instrumentation for stable isotopic analysis of atmospheric methane and she has since carried out postdoctoral research in NERC and EU funded projects using mixing ratio, flux and isotopic measurements to investigate greenhouse gas emissions in the Arctic, Europe and Atlantic regions. Work has involved shipboard, aircraft and ground based sampling campaigns. Other research interests are on the methane composition of cave air.


Role/Function in GGRG: Arctic methane research, coordination, analysis and interpretation of methane isotope measurements, mobile greenhouse gas measurements.
