Christine Dymkowski, Professor of Drama and Theatre History, is talking about ‘The Tempest in Performance’ at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, where Ralph Fiennes is currently starring in Trevor Nunn’s new production of the play. In the talk, she explores some of the ways in which the play’s meaning in performance has changed, as productions reflect shifting cultural, social, and political concerns.
The first talk took place on Monday, 26 September; the others will follow on Tuesday, 11 October, and Monday, 24 October. For more information, please visit http://www.trh.co.uk/ttta.php.
