Dr Nesreen Hussein appointed as temporary full-time lecturer

Dr Nesreen Hussein, who defended her PhD thesis earlier this year, is appointed as a temporary full-time lecturer at the Department of Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury. She will be convening and teaching modules across the undergraduate years on performance practice, site-specific performance, physical theatre, performance and art, design and scenography, in addition to students’ summer productions. Nesreen was recently awarded the Helsinki Prize, and the 2nd place in the New Scholars’ Essay Prize, both presented this year by the International Federation for Theatre Research.
