Students in Theory and Practice of Puppetry present an evening of rarely-seen modern plays for puppets.
Offerings include expressionist Georg Trakl’s Bluebeard: A Puppet Play (1910), a posthumously-published verse play based on the well-known legend (translated from the German), and satirist Moishe Nadir’s In the Other World (1932) written for the New York-based Yiddish puppet troupe Modicut and performed in a new translation by Harvey Fink.
Admission is free at the door but strictly limited so come early to get a seat. Not suitable for children under 12.
