The Girl Who Trod On a Loaf

Description
Based on a story by Hans Christian Anderson, The Girl Who Trod on a Loaf follows a wicked girl called Inge who falls down into hell. Meeting many eccentric characters along the way, this tale is about her journey to redemption.Red Kite Productions aim to create dynamic theatrical experiences by incorporating puppetry, movement and music. Through playful collaboration we adapt well known stories into visually stimulating theatre.The Girl Who Trod on the Loaf is a Red Kite Productions production as part of the Final Year Project by third year undergraduate students at Royal Holloway's Department of Drama and Theatre.

The Possibilities was performed as part of our MA season on the 18th and 19th of May 2011.It had an impressive set design with a canopy of cloth fanning down from the ceiling, framing the performance space.

Time for Plan Bee

Description
This performance took place as part of our PRP 2012 (Performance Research Project) season by our second year students in the autumn term. It was a promenade piece around the Boilerhouse theatre complex. The focus and research for this project was the honey bee, focusing on the startling decline in their numbers and the effects this may have on our future.
