Welcome to the School of Law

"Welcome to the School of Law at Royal Holloway, University of London!

On behalf of all our academic and professional staff, and our students at the Royal Holloway School of Law, I am pleased to welcome you to the School.  Our diverse and vibrant community is dedicated to intellectual discovery in law, criminology, sociology and forensic psychology, to making knowledge matter and to helping students reach their highest potential.

The unique strength of our community in this School is that it brings together so many exceptionally talented people of different backgrounds, experiences, interests, methodologies, and perspectives in a subject mix which is stimulating and special in legal and social science education.

The School of Law at Royal Holloway is a new School, built on strong traditions in the College in Criminology, Psychology and Sociology and with a new qualifying law programme, and combined honours programmes offering a mix of law and criminology opportunities. We have excellent links in the world of criminal justice and forensics, and a commitment to making a difference in society."
