Professor Ravinder Barn awarded new grant

Professor Ravinder Barn, along with St Georges, and Thomas Coram, London; and the University of Bristol has been awarded a grant of £692,249 from the NIHR to carry out a randomized controlled study into teenage pregnancy.


The aim of this study is to develop a peer mentoring intervention to reduce teenage pregnancy in looked after children and to undertake an exploratory randomized controlled trial to assess the feasibility of evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention in a definitive trial.
